could not find driver postgresql laravel

I’m currently working on a Laravel project and I’m facing a frustrating issue that I can’t seem to resolve. I keep getting an error message that says “could not find driver” when I try to connect to my PostgreSQL database. I’ve double-checked my `.env` file, and it seems like everything is configured correctly. I have the correct database name, username, password, and host settings. However, no matter what I do, Laravel just can’t seem to find the PostgreSQL driver.

I’ve also verified that the `pdo_pgsql` extension is installed on my server, as I’ve read that this is essential for PostgreSQL to work with Laravel. I tried running `php -m` to list the installed PHP modules, and `pdo_pgsql` appears to be missing. I even attempted installing it via my package manager, but I’m still encountering issues.

    1. Uh oh, I tripped over this error!

      So, like, I was trying to connect my Laravel app to PostgreSQL, right? And then I saw this error that said something like “could not find driver” or whatever. I was like, huh? 🤔

      I think it has something to do with the database driver not being installed or something? Maybe I forgot to install the PHP extension for PostgreSQL? I heard you need to do that… but not sure how exactly. 😅

      Some people said I should check my php.ini file and make sure that the extension for PostgreSQL is enabled. Or maybe I need to install it using something like apt-get or brew or whatever package manager people use. 🛠️

      Also, I think I need to double-check my database configuration in .env file. Like, is the DB_CONNECTION set to pgsql? I keep mixing up these settings! 😩
