How can I stop my Bluetooth from disconnecting during Google Assistant calls?

anonymous user

I’ve been having this frustrating issue lately where my Bluetooth keeps disconnecting during Google Assistant calls. It’s so annoying because I’ll be in the middle of a conversation and then suddenly I can’t hear anything! I’ve tried turning my Bluetooth on and off, resetting my phone, and even re-pairing my device, but nothing seems to work.

I rely on Google Assistant calls for work and important conversations, so I really need to figure out how to fix this problem. It’s been happening more frequently and I’m worried it’s going to affect my productivity.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with their Bluetooth and Google Assistant calls? What steps did you take to stop the disconnections? I could really use some advice or tips on how to troubleshoot this issue. I’m at my wit’s end and would greatly appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you in advance!

Sounds super frustrating! I totally get it. Bluetooth issues can be really annoying, especially when you have important calls to make.

So, here are a few things you might wanna try:

      • Check Battery Levels: Sometimes if your Bluetooth device is low on battery, it can disconnect. Make sure everything is charged up!
      • Update Your Phone: Make sure your phone’s software is up to date. Sometimes updates fix bugs that can cause Bluetooth issues.
      • Forget Device and Re-pair: You mentioned re-pairing, but make sure you completely “forget” the Bluetooth device in the settings and then set it up again like new.
      • Check for Interference: Other devices can interfere with Bluetooth. Try moving away from Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, or other Bluetooth devices to see if that helps.
      • Try Another Device: If you can, try connecting a different Bluetooth device to your phone. If the other device works fine, then it might be a problem with your original Bluetooth headset.
      • Reset Network Settings: This is a more drastic step, but you could try resetting all network settings. Just keep in mind you’ll have to reconnect to Wi-Fi and other Bluetooth devices afterward.

Sharing this helps too – checking online forums or Google support pages can sometimes lead to hidden fixes!

Hope one of these works for you! Good luck!

The issue you’re experiencing with Bluetooth disconnecting during Google Assistant calls can be frustrating, especially when it impacts your productivity. First, ensure that your Bluetooth device’s firmware is up to date, as manufacturers often release updates to address compatibility issues and improve connectivity. Additionally, check if your phone’s operating system is the latest version available. Sometimes, issues may arise due to bugs in older software that have since been resolved in updates. If you’ve already done this, consider deleting the Bluetooth pairing from both your phone and the device you’re using, and then re-establish that connection after ensuring no other devices are attempting to connect simultaneously, which might cause interference.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, explore the possibility of conflicting applications. Certain apps can interfere with Bluetooth functionality, particularly those that manage network or audio settings. It might be worth testing your Bluetooth device with other apps or on different mobile devices to rule out hardware issues. Checking the settings in your Bluetooth options, such as audio codec preferences, might also provide insights. If the issue persists, consider reaching out to the device manufacturer or Google support for more tailored troubleshooting, as they may have specific fixes for known issues with Bluetooth and Google Assistant. Your reliance on these calls for work warrants thorough investigation into this inconvenience.
