I’m really trying to figure out which AWS certification I should pursue, but I’m feeling overwhelmed with all the options available. I’ve been working in IT for a few years, primarily focusing on system administration, and I want to pivot more towards cloud computing. I’ve heard that AWS certifications can really enhance my career opportunities, but I’m not sure where to start.
There are so many different paths, like Solution Architect, Developer, and DevOps Engineer, and each one seems to require a different skill set and knowledge base. I’m particularly interested in cloud architecture and infrastructure, but I’m also curious about application development and operations.
I’ve read that the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate is a great entry point for those new to AWS, but I’m worried it might not align with my long-term goals. Should I dive into that, or are there other certifications that might suit me better? Also, how do I know which certification will be most recognized and respected by employers? I want to make a smart investment of my time and resources, but I feel stuck and uncertain about the best path forward.
