I’m not really looking to lean on jQuery for this project because I’m trying to keep things lightweight and straightforward. So, I really want to achieve this using only JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (and maybe some minimal inline styles or separate CSS if needed).

Here’s what I’m envisioning:

– **Structure:** Ideally, I’d like to have a modal that covers the entire screen with a semi-transparent backdrop. In the center, there should be a box with a title, some content to explain what the dialog is for, and a couple of buttons for user actions, like “OK” and “Cancel.” I want to know the best way to create this structure using HTML elements.

– **Styling:** I’m a bit lost when it comes to CSS. What are some styles I should consider to ensure the dialog looks appealing? I want it to be responsive as well, so it should look good on both desktop and mobile devices. Any tips on colors, spacing, fonts, or layout would be super helpful.

– **Functionality:** I’ll need some help with the JavaScript to handle the opening and closing of the dialog.
