Would replacing preset seeds with daily challenges in the demo enhance replayability without diminishing the relevance of the full game?

I’ve been mulling over an idea for my demo of “Dragon Riddler,” and I really want to get your take on it. So, right now, the demo features three preset seeds for players to tackle, along with a weekly challenge. But I’m thinking of shaking things up a bit by swapping those preset seeds for a daily challenge instead.

The current structure allows players to experience different adventures during those three attempts, but I’m wondering if introducing a daily challenge would really amp up the replayability factor. Picture this: every day, players could face a fresh challenge, leading to different obstacles and word duels with dragons that keep things feeling new and exciting. Plus, it could create a bit of a community vibe as folks compare their daily scores or challenge each other for bragging rights. I figure it could keep people coming back for more, which is what every demo wants, right?

But then there’s the flip side I’ve been wrestling with. I’m conscious of the full game that’s lurking around the corner, and I definitely don’t want to dilute its relevance by giving away too much in the demo. It’s all about striking that balance—enough engaging content to draw players in, but not so much that they feel like they’ve experienced everything by the time the full game drops.

Also, my plan is to keep the demo available even after the full game launches because I want it to feel welcoming to new players. But what if a daily challenge makes the demo feel too robust? I wouldn’t want people to play just the demo and think they’ve seen everything, therefore bypassing the full experience.

What do you all think? Would replacing those preset seeds with daily challenges make the demo more fun and replayable? Or could it inadvertently make the full game less appealing? I’d really love to hear your thoughts!
